These eggs are the result of a project to diversify my partridge orpington line as the color in general has had lots of issues due to a small pool of birds. So, I crossed partridge rooster over blue, black and splash hens and crossed blue and black roosters over partridge hens. Then, I put the offspring of that cross into a breeding pen. These are from the second generation cross. Many of these will be blue and black with some semblance of partridge leakage. They will do well to be crossed back to partridge if you have the color of just purchased as robust birds for a laying flock. You will also hatch a smaller percentage of partridge. I don't have picture of the pen on hand but these birds are big and beautiful and will be a great start to a new line of partridge. They were derived from the parent stock listed in the pictures.
