This small breed is a very unique bird, weighing 4-5lbs it is most certainly easy to spot in a crowd. Their distinct feature is their bouffant crest of feathers and v-shaped comb. They lay tiny, white eggs and have very varied lay amounts unto 110 a year. The exact origin of this breed is unknown but the oldest know recording was in the Netherlands. Though these are a calm breed but because of their crest it hinders their vision which can make them more skittish.
